Now coming to the exam analysis:-

  1. Reasoning : Reasoning is coming same as previous year. Some questions 1 or 2 may be tricky. Mirror image and water image questions are coming with very close options, so you need to solve those questions carefully. There are no questions asked on calendar and clock till now. So, reasoning is easy to moderate and good attempt is 22-24 questions. Try to solve reasoning within 14 minutes.
  2. English : This is coming easy in all shift or we can say in ssc cgl 2018 tier-1 English is the easiest subject. Basic vocabulary is being asked. This part of the paper can be solved within 8 minutes.Vocabulary part is coming more if we compare this year’s paper to previous year paper. There is no RC or passage is asked in any shift til now. Close test are easy in nature.to conclude we can say English is easy in ssc cgl 2018 exam.
  3. GK/GS : This is little bit tricky this year. Some questions are easy while some questions have very close options thus making them difficult. Polity questions are very easy and they are asking at least 3 questions of polity in every shift. There is also more history questions compare to last year’s paper. There is 3 to 4 history questions. Surprisingly there is very few questions from biology. Current affairs questions are dominating in this year’s gk paper. full section can be solved with in 5-6 minutes.
  4. Maths : Maths is the surprising factor this year. Data interpretation questions are easy but they ate taking more time to solve. The whole paper is very lengthy and time consuming. This time arithmetic part is asked more as compare to advance part of the paper. Arithmetic is taking much time. So, we careful while attempting maths section of paper as it is very lengthy.

Overall, we can say paper was moderate to difficult considering the lengthy maths and bit tricky reasoning. But as there is Normalisation process is already introduced in ssc cgl 2018, you don’t need to worry about difficulty level of the examination.
